15th July 2001 Our journey commences! We left Warmingham at 3pm hoping 10 hours to get to the Channel Tunnel was enough - taking into consideration my map-reading skills. Fortunately, Sarah decided to take over and we arrived soon after 9pm. A small concern was that they couldn't find out tickets, but some clever talking did the trick as we found ourselves under The Channel four hours early.
